Bellevue college is horrid for a CS degree as that is where i started college and most of the professors back then didn't know what they were talking about and as /u/DangerWarning said, they grade hard and its next to impossible to get your degree in 90 credit hours. Additionally, coming to UW as a pre-major transfer student often extends the amount of time until a student can graduate. Some of my friends at Waterloo CS told me that 30 CS freshmen at UW got a Microsoft internship. These courses allow students pursuing any major at UW to also gain substantial exposure to Computer Science. Are the satellite campuses UW Bothell or UW Tacoma perceived as significantly different? Computer engineering is part of the CSE department, so I'm afraid that the same very low changes as computer science, but the other engineering majors are not all direct admit based. There is no impact on the transfer admission process from the implementation of Direct to Major for freshman applicants.
