I agree about the inability to ambush sucks, it's an awful skill. This is due to the fact that I will never use Sandalphon for anything besides initiating battle, so St/Ma/Lu are pointless. What's happening, you ask? Having a Persona whose main role is to cast the three Auto-Ma buffs before battle is very useful. ...something wonderful. Kaguya also comes out of the box with Null Bless/Curse meaning Insta-Kills aren’t a threat either. I think I got a Michael with some pretty nice stuff, too. Kaguya is basically the Magic-based counterpart for Yoshitsune.
Ali Dance + Angelic Grace combined with Kaguya’s 99 Ag stat makes her nigh unhittable, and even when she does occasionally get hit, her 99 En stat makes the damage pretty much negligible. Aside from Shining Arrows and the damage boosts, my Kaguya build also includes Drain Fire to cover her weak spot, Spell Master to reduce the cost of Shining Arrows and the Ali Dance + Angelic Grace combo for maximum evasion.
